Match Description
Flexing and chest bumping turns into bearhugs that turns into wrestling that turns into muscle worship. This match has it all! Bronco takes control early pinning Sharkboy and smashing his pecs into his face over and over doing pushup after pushup. He snatches Sharkboy's leg and stretches him out before attempting to squeeze his head off with leg scissors. Bronco moves his target from Sharkboy's pretty boy face to his shredded abs. Bronco locks in a brutal ab stretch as Sharkboy tries to find a counter. In a swift move, Sharkboy gets Bronco in a full nelson and fights against his power to break out. Sharkboy has to jump on Bronco's back to stay on.
After a ride around the mat, Bronco slams Sharkboy and goes back to work with submission after submission trying to make Sharkboy tap out! But the match turns when Sharkboy takes advantage of an injury. Bronco hurts his leg and Sharkboy attacks! Bronco, slightly beaten, unleashes a brutal fury of ab punching and mean submissions before folding him in half with a test of strength. "Bronco is a real gift to underground wrestling. He's movie-star handsome with muscles packed on top of muscles, without damage to his nimbleness. If he ever let a smile break through his stony profile, I must have missed it. High cheekbones and what I would call a stern Greek nose give his face an air of authority and earnestness. He's also a very fine wrestler, comfortable in taking on new hires at the Arena, fearless and, when necessary, severe in disciplining newbies.
Sharkboy is gleeful when causing others pain, a valuable trait at Thunders. He's limber and willing to take risks. (Simply occupying a mat with Bronco is a risk, but a good lesson, too.) The Arena tells us that he's "Sharkboy" because he was formerly a shark diver, a career that ended due to an injury. He obviously enjoys a good fight, which Bronco generously provides for him. He has the flaws of a new hire, but Bronco and wrestlers like Bronco can soon show him the ropes. Two or three more matches will polish his style."
