Scrappy and Shredder collide in this Winter Wonderland showdown, with Shredder stepping into only his third match and barely able to hide his excitement. He gushes over Scrappy’s reputation, thanking him for the chance to face someone he’s looked up to. Scrappy just smirks and says, “Alright kid… let me show you how it’s really done.” They tie up, but Scrappy immediately takes control, scooping Shredder into a fireman’s carry and slamming him hard into the turnbuckle before tossing him flat onto the mat. He yanks Shredder over and locks in a deep Boston Crab, leaning back as the rookie twists in pain, then hooks Shredder’s head under the lower rope just to crank the pressure. Shredder’s face contorts in a brutal, camera-ready agony while Scrappy taunts, “This is what you signed up for, rookie!” When Shredder won’t submit, Scrappy threads him through the second rope and bends him backward over the top rope in a vicious backbreaker stretch that nearly forces a tap. Shredder looks like he’s about to give, but Scrappy grins and says, “Oh, I’ve got more planned for you.” That moment of overconfidence gives Shredder the opening he needs. He fires a desperate gut shot, fights his way out, and somehow manages to lock Scrappy in a surprise sleeper hold. Scrappy’s knees buckle, his breathing slows, and he’s seconds from going out before he rips free and slams Shredder back into the turnbuckle again. Scrappy jumps up onto the ropes and clamps on a figure-four headscissors, squeezing until Shredder starts fading from lack of oxygen and drops to the mat. Scrappy hops down, grabs Shredder’s leg, drapes it over the bottom rope, and wrenches it across the strand to crank out another submission attempt. “You’re going to do what I tell you,” Scrappy growls, but Shredder refuses to quit. Frustrated, Scrappy drags him up and slams him down with a heavy body slam, then picks him up again for an over-the-knee backbreaker that shakes the ring. He clamps on a grinding side headlock, squeezing and wrenching until he finally shoves Shredder forward and smashes him into the second turnbuckle one more time. Shredder collapses to the mat, spent, and Scrappy slides behind him to lock in a cobra sleeper. The hold sinks in deep, cutting off the rookie’s last bit of resistance until Shredder goes completely limp. Scrappy lifts him up and perches him on the top rope like a holiday decoration, proudly displaying his victory to the crowd.
